In San Diego and Orange Counties, more than 6,000 children are currently living in foster care. These children face incredible challenges - and now more than ever, they need consistent love, support, and connection.

At Urban Surf 4 Kids, we believe in healing through community. Through our Ohana - our chosen family - we introduce foster and at-risk youth to surf therapy, mentorship, and outdoor adventure. Together, we help kids rise above fear, sadness, and uncertainty and into a space of hope, confidence, and joy.

By providing these safe, joyful spaces, we offer accessible therapy on their level - moments of laughter, courage, and connection that help these youth process emotions in a natural, supportive environment. A surfboard becomes a tool for confidence; a day at the beach becomes a bridge toward trust and healing.

Every wave ridden, every high-five shared, and every mentoring conversation helps kids rise above fear and uncertainty - reminding them that they are seen, supported, and capable of amazing things. Together, we’re building a stronger, more compassionate community - one wave at a time.
